Fiona is an abstract meditation on intuition, memory, and the quiet moments that ask to be remembered. Built through layered fields of soft neutrals, muted greens, warm blush tones, and punctuations of vivid pink, the composition feels both grounded and energetic—like a fleeting thought suspended in time. Subtle markings, circular motifs, and textured passages invite closer inspection, revealing traces of movement, revision, and discovery beneath the surface.
The painting’s name was inspired by a moment of synchronicity experienced while driving—an unexpected alignment that felt too meaningful to ignore. Naming the piece Fiona became a way of anchoring that moment, preserving the feeling of awareness and connection that briefly surfaced and then passed.
Balancing structure with spontaneity, Fiona carries a sense of calm curiosity and emotional resonance. It offers the viewer a space to pause, reflect, and perhaps recognize their own moments of coincidence, clarity, or quiet wonder within its layered abstraction.
