Often I like to share with you the origins of inspiration for a piece generated by a feeling or thought or some thing I am moved by. This one is some thing I’m still in the middle of. Something deeply personal and painful and vulnerable… some thing rooted in an emotion I don’t allow myself to tap into often. I chose to express it here as a combination of beauty, anger and pain. She’s part of the series that’s helping me through this process.
She may speak to you on another level. I recently heard someone state that the admirer’s interpretation completes the process of the art. What does she mean to you?
